Privacy, without a maze.

Your notes and routing history stay on your device. We designed the extension so we cannot see them.

What the extension accesses

Only the local folder you explicitly choose through your browser’s folder picker. It reads Markdown files to show one note at a time and writes separate ticket files into a rehearsal folder. It does not alter source notes or request permission to read websites.

What is stored

The chosen folder handle, routing ledger, and preferences are stored in browser extension storage. Ticket files are stored in your chosen local folder. A pasted purchase license and a daily verification result are stored locally in the extension. On this website, a license returned after checkout is held in local storage so you can copy it into the extension.

What leaves your device

Note content, filenames, folder paths, and routing history never leave your device. If you verify a paid license, only the license token is sent to Sociobot’s billing API. The website and extension include no analytics, advertising, third-party fonts, or tracking scripts.

Payments

Sociobot / Dodo is the merchant of record and handles checkout, receipts, and refunds under its own privacy terms. We do not receive card details.

Delete and export

Export the ledger from the extension’s toolbar. “Forget local data” removes its folder handle, preferences, and ledger from extension storage; tickets already written to disk remain yours. Uninstalling removes browser-held extension data but does not delete files on disk.
